When Alaric later returned from voyages with abandoned girls, he entrusted them to Raektun’s oversight.

It was there, after many years, that he discovered the fruit of a past mating—a son he had never known. The young man stood before him with the look of his mother but the unmistakable fire of his father.
Today, Raektun stands as proof that the blood of the North runs deep. Having claimed the boy as his own, he has brought him into his home to teach him the ways of the north.
